Security Certificates are supported as part of the T8000 Enterprise Security Suite. The process for loading security certificates is described in the T8000 Administrator’s Manual.
Can I buy labels or a color ink tank from resources other than TSC?
As for the label, the TSC color inkjet IJP series labels are highly recommended, are certified, and can meet the constant influx of new market demands. The ink tank only can be purchased from TSC.
Can I do both direct and thermal transfer printing in TDM printers?
No. The TDM is a direct-thermal only printer.
Can I swap the printhead directly?
The printheads are interchangeable for all the available resolutions listed below. The printer can automatically detect the printhead change. • 4-inch model: 203, 300 and 600 dpi 6-inch model: 203 and 300 dpi
Can I run both Ethernet and Wi-Fi?
The Wi-Fi printer can be configured for either Ethernet or Wi-Fi operation, but not both simultaneously. If an Ethernet cable is plugged in and connected with a host system, the Ethernet interface is active. In all other cases, the Wi-Fi is active.
